Twinkle was unable to fly due to having a steel pelet in her groin (the Vet's advice is to leave it exactly where it is) and to live out her natural life under the care of the WOW team.

She was an old owl with a big voice when she wanted one. Twinkle passed away peacefully in her sleep on Sunday 23rd January 2011.
