Darcy was purchased as a 7week old owlet who was left on the shelf with a breeder, hatched on the 2nd May 2011, and flew for the first time on the 6th July 2011. Darcy will be with the WOW educational team of Owls, going into schools and care homes to help with the education of humans about how delicate and tough a life we have in the wild.
